August 22, 1947 ~ September 10, 2015

Mary Beatrice Wempe, our wonderful and loving mother, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2015 surrounded by family. She was born at home on August 22, 1927 to Mary D. Partain and Clarence E. McDole in Long, OK. She married Robert Louis Wempe on April 18, 1947 and raised a fun-loving, noisy family of six children. She was very proud of her family and becoming an accountant for the IRS.

Mary is survived by four children, Bobbie (Doug) Hess, Linda (Randy) Hunter, James (Chris) Wempe, and Anne (Tom) Abercrombie; 20 grandchildren; 39 ½ great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, David; son, John; daughter, Cheryl; grandson, David; and great-grandsons, Douglas and Drake.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.

Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
