Maryanne Munford Strain

Maryanne Munford Strain, 60, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017. She was born on February 17, 1957, in Cedar City, UT, the daughter of Lloyd and Anna Moore Munford.

She married David Strain on January 21, 1977 in Ogden. He passed away on April 17, 2013.

Maryanne worked as a statistical assistant in SOI at IRS. She was employed with the IRS for 30 years and looked forward to retirement.

She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, shopping, theatre outings, coin club, quality time with her friends, and most of all cherished and enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren. She adored her three dogs Gracie May, Naughty Dottie, and Bosco Be-Bop and her grand puppies; Missy, Gus David, Bella, and Penelope. She was committed and passionate of her friends and family at Al-Anon. She was a dedicated member of Al-Anon.

Maryanne is survived by her sons, Travis, Steve (Jacci), and Chad (Cassiea); grandchildren, Madisen, Carson, Anderson, Mason, Baylee, Hunter, Jackson, Rylee, Hayden and Khloey; brothers, Michael (Carol) Munford and Lyle (Tracy) Munford; and sister, Glenna (Bob) Bachman. She was preceded in death by her husband, David; parents, and sister, Melanie Munford.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
