A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Maryloo served in many callings including Relief Society President and Primary President.

Maryloo was a Daughter of Utah Pioneers and served as President of Camp Sage, and was actively involved for over 50 years in various positions, including museum treasurer. She was also a member of the old 5th Ward Club, and the Altruist Club.
