Maryruth Pierson, 72, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Country Pines Memory Care.

She was born June 16, 1946 in Vancouver, Washington to Engar and Dorothy Duff Nokleby. On July 31, 1966, Maryruth married Doryl Eugene Pierson.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was an avid church going member and was sealed to her husband and family in the Bountiful Utah LDS Temple on July 30, 2014.

She loved gardening, starting projects, and sweets, especially chocolate and milk shakes. She had a really big heart and loved helping people. She loved her grandchildren very much.

Maryruth is survived by her children, Corrina (Rene) Christensen, Douglas (Linda) Pierson, eight grandchildren, Addie, Emma, Jarius, Avery, Felisa, Max, Lily, Alex, one sister, Janet Lyness, niece, Sheena, nephew, Tom, niece, Shonny, nephew, Donovan, great-nephews, Cooper and Alex and great-nieces, Natasha, Paige and Meryann.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Gerry Nokleby.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Clinton City Cemetery.
