Matt Allen Price

Matt Allen Price, 53, of Riverdale, Utah, left us September 12, 2012, of complications following sudden cardiac arrest suffered on Sunday morning. He passed away at McKay Dee Hospital Center with his family by his side. He was born May 18, 1959 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Rod and Carole Robinson Price. Matt attended Weber High School, graduating in 1977 and was an Eagle Scout by the age of 13. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan, hunter, golfer and outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time with Dalene, his wife of twenty-two years, and with his family and many friends, and loved being with his energetic young grandchildren. Matt also loved the peace and solitude of being in nature, particularly the Utah mountains and Arizona/Nevada desert. Matt is survived by his wife, Dalene Poulsen Price; children and stepchildren, Evette (Scott) Timms and Colette Price, both of San Diego, California; Ty Warner of Ogden and Val (Annie) Warner of South Weber; precious grandchildren, Jordyn, Abigail, Cru, Draek, Maddix and Nash; mother, Carole Robinson of Ogden; father, Rod (Maurrie) Price, of Vancouver, Washington; brother, Troy Price of Ogden; sisters, Debbie (Mike) Rabang of Hilo, Hawaii and Kayla Marshall of Ogden and a host of close family, friends and colleagues who played very important roles in his life. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Willard City Cemetery. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Matt was a registered organ/tissue donor and was proud to offer the gift of life to others following his passing.
