Matthew Sherman Bolton
SOUTH WEBER a" Matthew Sherman Bolton, 30, passed away Monday, June 30, 2008 from an industrial accident.
He was born July 19, 1977 in Shelby, Montana the son of Sherman and Jacque Bolton.
Matthew graduated from Shelby High School in 1996. He moved to So. Weber in 1996, and married Leesa Hulet on August 4, 2001 in Holladay, Utah.
He loved to ride motorcycles, hunt and fish and loved to take things apart and put them back together. He loved his job welding and had acquired many certifications and was also an A mechanic. Matthew loved his family and spent his time with them. His family is very close.
Surviving are his wife Leesa Marie Bolton, son, Christian Matthew Bolton, daughter, Kayla Rae Bolton, So. Weber; parents, Sherman and Jacque Bolton, So. Weber; sister, Karlie (Scott) Birbeck and children Nathan, Kamille and Kyler, Syracuse; In-laws, Kenneth and Rowena Ledbetter, Richfield; Kenneth Hulet, Las Vegas, NV; grandparents, Gerald and Marian Bolton, West Valley; David and Karen Wallace, Sunset; Ruth and Larry Tafoya, Sandy; great-grandmother, Margaret Peterson, Magna; Lyle Atkinson, friends and cousins he thought of as brothers, Dustin and Paul Henion, Tyson Goff, Willy Marsh, Jeremy Brimhall, Lance, Ben Sprunt, and numerous other family members.
Preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Mono Peterson and his best buddy Richard Burns.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, July 4, 2008 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary''s Catholic Church, 4050 So. 3900 W., West Haven.
A gathering of friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road in Matthew''s memory.
A memorial fund has been set up for Matthew Bolton at Zion''s Bank, 310 South Main.
