LAYTON a€" Matthew Richard Polanowski, 40, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at his home from natural causes.

He was born January 19, 1968 in Mid West City, Oklahoma the son of Richard and Georgia Kelly Polanowski.

Matthew married Jennifer Thomas on May 30, 2002 in Layton, Utah.

Matthew was Jennifer''s best friend. He was the best father and son to his mother as well as best friends to his family who he loved more than life itself. He took a blended family and made it into his very own. He will always be larger than life.

He loved bowling, fishing, golfing, being outdoors, fixing cars but his biggest love in life was being a good father, husband and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife Jennifer, Layton; two sons, Tony (Bonnie), Layton; A.J. "Aleks", Layton; their mother, Trina Polanowski, two daughters, Jessica (Erin) Sizemore, Layton; Hayden Aubry Sizemore, Layton; mother, Georgia Polanowski, Farr West; brother, Leslie (Harriett) Bibee, Bennington, Vermont; two sisters, Wendy (Danny) Slater, Roy; and Lisa Stoker, Clinton. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Richard Polanowski.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
