Mattix Miller Dougherty

Mattix Miller Dougherty passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on January 8, 2016.  Mattix was born on October 21, 2015 at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah.  Mattix lived most of his life at Primary Children’s Hospital battling liver disease.

Mattix’s time on earth was just a short couple of months, but his smile will last a lifetime.  Mattix’s health issues puzzled many of the country’s best doctors. Mattix was a strong baby and he fought every day battling this horrible disease.  Mattix will always hold a special place in the hearts of everyone he met along the way.

Mattix was the son of Lindsay and Michael Dougherty, of Clearfield, Utah and is survived by three siblings, Jaxon, Oakley, and Axel.

Mattix was preceded in death by his grandfather Thomas Eugene Dougherty.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
