LAYTON a€" Maurice (Bud) Lyle Peelgren, 83, quietly passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

He was born February 4, 1929. Married Donna Mae Choukalas in September 1954 the love of his life.

He was a faithful member of the Mountain View Baptist Church in Layton.

Bud was a man after God''s heart, where he lived his life as an expression of his faith in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He loved his family and was selfless in his time and resources.

Surviving are his wife Donna Peelgren of Layton; son James Peelgren of Covina, CA; daughter Linda Corn of Clinton; two grandchildren and sister Mavis Branch.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Mt. View Baptist Church, 2585 E. 3000 No. Layton.

Interment, Utah Veteran''s Memorial Park, Bluffdale, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mountain View Baptist Church, P.O. Box 9, Layton, UT 84041
