Maurice (Mo) Uhlhorn

Maurice “Mo” Martin Uhlhorn, 69, of Layton, Utah, passed away on January 13, 2019.

Mo was born in Mountain Lake, MN on September 15, 1949. Mo started his education in a one room school house in New Sweden Township. He graduated from Windom High School.

Mo was married to Lori on February 27, 1982; they were married 37 years.

Mo retired as a USAF civilian after 24 years of service. He proudly served in the US Army as a combat medic for 24 years and completed 2 tours of duty in Vietnam with the US Air Force as an airman.

Mo is survived by his wife, Lori (Wheelock) Uhlhorn, sons, Michael of Arizona and Jeremy of Kentucky, five grandchildren, Sebastian, Serenity, Gabriella, Dylan and Aidenn, brothers, Donald and Neil.

Mo is preceded in death by father Martin, mother Marion, sister Rachel and brothers Howard and Leon.

The funeral service will be held January 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
