Maverick Austin Maggard

Maverick was conceived in January 2023. We found out we were pregnant with him on February 19, 2023. Maverick made his way home peacefully on May 10, 2023. He was delivered on May 12, 2023. We said our goodbyes on May 13, 2023.

He made such a huge impact on our lives in such a short amount of time. It’s amazing how someone so tiny can affect so many lives for the better. He definitely gave us love, hope, and light. Our four children were so excited to have a baby brother. Everyone was so excited to teach him all the things. Austin was hoping for a daddy’s boy haha. I was hoping for another mama’s boy. Nevertheless, we will have yet another guardian angel to watch over us.

Maverick is survived by his mom, Brittnii; dad, Austin; his older sister, Harlee; and three older brothers, Carson, Leeland, and Axel. He is also survived by his Grandpa Neal Hess, Neenee Daneen; and Pop pop Staff Sheffield, Grandma Shelly; and Grandpa Ty Holmes, great-grandma, Sandy Underwood, Uncle Ducky, aunt, Allison and Katie and Hunter; uncle,  Caleb; aunt, Brenda and Eli; aunt, Lindsey and Dustin, Mason, Logan and Ellie; Great-Nana and Papaw Bird; Great-Memaw Francis Maggard, Papaw Greg Maggard, and many others that love him dearly.

Maverick was preceded in death by his Great-Pepaw Edward Maggard; Great-grandma Marilyn and Great-grandpa Raymond Hess, Great-grandpa Rick Underwood, and Great-Grandpa Monty Fowers.
