Maverik Darwin Ray
April 15, 2022 ~ June 16, 2022
Our beautiful baby boy, Maverik, earned his wings far too soon and returned to the heavens. He was born to be brave and was so infinitely loved and adored by all who met him.
Our family is forever changed and forever grateful to have spent this short, but incredibly meaningful time with Mav.
He will be forever loved and longed for by his parents, Karlie and Devin Ray; his caring and protective big brother and sister, Oliver and Winnie; his grandparents, Dale and Marianne Rushton, and Jennifer Kellerstrass; his great-grandparents, Reed Burke, George and Pauline Rushton, LouAnn Ray, and Dean and Lorna Morrison.
Mav flies with his grandpa, Darwin Ray; great-grandpa, Harold Ray; and his great-grandmas, Barbara Burke and Lynda Morrison.
We love you sweet boy.
"your wings were ready, but our hearts were not"
What I know...
I know you soar with angels now
And that your heart has wings.
I know you're watching over me
Whatever this world brings.
I know you were a gift from God
And that you're safe above.
I know I will see you again
And once more feel your love.
I know you live in Heaven now
And that I must go on.
I know my heart will ache for you
Until my time is done.
