Mavis West Rasmussen

LAYTON – Mavis West Rasmussen went home to be with her Savior on Friday, February 2, 2018.

She was born at home in Wayne, Ohio, to Otto and Blanche West on June 9, 1940, the youngest and last living of nine children.

She moved to Utah on April 22, 1983.  She met and married her beloved David Rasmussen on July 22, 1988.  He preceded her in death on December 29, 2015.

Mavis has four children, Daniel Turvey, Timothy Turvey, Renita Neville (deceased) and Joey Murphy, 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the North Park Foursquare Church of Roy, Utah.

A special thank you to Legacy Hospice and Homecare employees, Korie Newby, Sydney Rasmussen, and Shayla.  A special thank you to a friend, caregiver and sister in Christ Kandee Nunnikhoven.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the North Park Foursquare Church, 4275 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah.
