Max Cooley
Max Cooley, 97, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 in York, Nebraska.
He was born August 23, 1913 in Fairchance, Pennsylvania the son of Earl and Bertha Cooley.
Max served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Max was a Mason and member of the VFW.
He loved traveling, Fox News, giving his opinion and shopping at Walmart.
Surviving are his companion Peg Deitrick, Grove City, OH; son Dirk Cooley, daughter Kim Packard, one grandchild, Jason Hales, many nieces and nephews, family friends: Margie Taylor, Carol and Harley Rayburn, Jan Deitrick, Chris and Lowell Rayburn.
Preceded in death by his wife, brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
