Max D. Faulkner

Max Dale Faulkner FARR WEST – After a courageous battle with cancer, Max Dale Faulkner, husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather, passed through the veil on Saturday, June 16, 2007. He died peacefully at home in the loving arms of his wife Sharon. One of 12 children born to Frank and Lucille Faulkner, Max was born in Ogden, Utah on May 6, 1942. He left behind nine surviving brothers and sisters. Max also leaves behind the love of his life, Sharon, eight children and stepchildren, Rodney, Kim, Todd, Jesse and Theresa Faulkner, Rodney Harris, Shawndra Bingham and Marty Harris; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Max served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked for Alcoa for 33 years as an electrician. But that doesn’t tell the story of Max. He loved life and lived it to its fullest. He was an artist, a master gardener, a supreme fly fisherman and a gourmet cook. He could see beauty where others could not, and then create it for everyone to enjoy. Above all else, Max loved family. His greatest joy was having family around him at family gatherings and outings. He will be greatly missed for he was greatly loved. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., where Military Honors will be accorded.
