Maxien Lucille Nicholls

OGDEN – Maxien Lucille Wilson Nicholls, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at her daughter’s home in Livingston, Montana. She was born April 19, 1925 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Walter and Mary Wilson. She lived in Ogden attending Ogden City Schools, and graduating from Ogden High School. Maxien met her eternal sweetheart, Ernest R. Nicholls, and was married May 21, 1949 in Paris, Idaho. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple for Time and All Eternity along with their four children. They were happily married for 58 years. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held many positions and loved to attend all church activities. She found joy working in the Temple and served as a Temple worker for many years. Maxien was an employee of the Internal Revenue Service for 15 years until she was forced to leave on a medical disability. She had a passion for service and it was illustrated in every aspect of her life. She worked as a volunteer for more than 15 years at McKay-Dee Hospital where she gained many friends and acquaintances. By far, her finest attribute was the love and compassion she showed to her family. She will be missed greatly.
