Maxine Warner Bramwell

Our loving Maxine Warner Bramwell, 86, of South Ogden, passed away January 25, 2013 after struggling with cancer. She was born September 14, 1926 to Don Carlos and Clara Schofield Warner. She graduated from Ogden High School and married her high school sweetheart, Harold Lynn Bramwell, on February 8, 1946. They had two children. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

They owned and operated Lynn''s Market grocery store located in Ogden for 22 years.

In her younger years she was employed as a service representative for the telephone company. She enjoyed being a volunteer at McKay-Dee Hospital taking photographs of the newborn babies. She was secretary of the Five Point Lady Lions where they donated the first set of bagpipes to Ben Lomond High School. She retired after 25 years of working as an accounting technician for the Internal Revenue Service.

Mom and Dad enjoyed many road trips in their motor home. They traveled back east and along the coasts and always took their little dogs with them.

She bowled and golfed for many years and received numerous trophies. She also belonged to the Eagles Auxiliary and the Red Hat Square Dance Club.

Crocheting beautiful afghans was another of her interests. She always had a green thumb. In her younger years she had beautiful, colorful hillside rock gardens at her homes and when she moved to her patio home, she loved spending time planting gorgeous pots everywhere. Her yards were always vibrant with flowers.

She was an avid animal lover and always had her baby dogs throughout her life.

Her and her friends enjoyed breakfast and lunches every month for many years.

She is survived by two children, Linda Bramwell Jones of Ogden and Larry Bramwell of Pleasant View; one brother, Lowell Dee (Barbara) Warner of Ogden; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lynn (January 22, 1980); parents; brother, Norman S. Warner; and one grandchild, Nicolle Huggard.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd., South Ogden.

A special "Thank You" to Pine view Transitional Rehab who helped Mom regain strength in her compound-fractured leg and got her up and walking again. A big "Thank You" to Rich who had a special bond with Mom. Also the family would like to thank Manor Care and Hospice of Utah for their care and services.

Maxine''s family is very grateful to have been able to have her and her kind, gentle spirit for all these years. She will be greatly missed.
