Maxine G. McCallum

Our sweet little old mom passed away peacefully at home on September 29, 2013 a month shy of her 89th birthday.

She was born October 27, 1924 to William C. and Mary Layton Green in Woods Cross, Utah.

Her hobbies consisted of many things, such as: her paintings, knitting, sewing and was also an avid reader.

She graduated from Davis High School and was very proud to be a Davis Dart.

In mom and dad''s later years they had the pleasure of traveling together to many different destinations.

Mom looked forward every month to having her nails and hair done. Nothing would stop her, come hell or high water, they got done.

Our profound appreciation to Dr. Marc Johnson and his staff for the loving care and attendance to mom and dad over all these years.

Surviving are her children, Wayne (Teri) McCallum, Allen McCallum, Judy (Tim) Blackner, Christine Chambers, James McCallum, Joanne (Bill) Whitesides, Bobbie (Ronnie) Green, 28 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and sister Pat (Grant) Blackley.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
