Mayson Lorenzo Sexton

Mayson Lorenzo Sexton passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on June 11, 2022, at the age of 23. He was born September 11, 1998 in Ogden, Utah, to David L. and Sheri C. Johnson Sexton.

He graduated from Fremont High School, worked at the South Ogden Neighborhood Walmart. The customers loved to visit with Mayson, he brought joy to everyone that he met. In his eyes he never met a stranger, he loved everyone with all his heart. Mayson always had a smile and brought joy to all. 

He was his dads rock, he loved to spend time with his dad working on cars and trucks. He loved being on the phone and calling everyone just to see how they were doing. He loved being an uncle to Kasey and Graysen and Bryli.  He also loved four wheeling at the sand dunes and being on the computer.  He always wanted to obtain his CDL and participate in Radio Control Race Car Events.

As we comfort each other with broken hearts of a void that will never be filled. We will always remember the loving spirit he was blessed with in the short precious time we had with him. We pray that all will continue to live a life full of joy, love, and happiness as Mayson did.

Mayson is survived by his father, David Sexton; siblings, Chaz Sexton, Eric Baker, Tiffany Baker; grandparents, Marvin and Robin Sexton, Mike and Pam Anderson, Judy Argyle, and Mary Johnston; uncles, Cody and Jessica Anderson, Joe Anderson, Steve and Annette Sexton, Kenny and Julie Argyle, Matt and Tressa Johnston; cousins, Colten Sexton and Josh Sexton and many other loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceded in death by his mother, Sheri C. Johnston Sexton; grandparents, Mona and Shavy Argyle, Kent Argyle, and Greg Johnston.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.

The family encourages those in attendance to wear t-shirts and shorts in honor of Mayson.
