McLayn “Mac” Edward Brophy

McLayn “Mac” Edward Brophy was born August 4, 1998 in Ogden, Utah to Philip Edward Brophy, Jr. and Lori Norseth Brophy. He returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 18, 2017. Mac is now with Dobby, a free Elf.

Mac attended Weber County schools, graduating from Fremont High in 2016. He received a certificate of completion in composites from the ATC.

Mac is survived by his parents, brother, Payson Fenn, sister, Kinnli Anngela Brophy, grandparents, William and Barbara Norseth and Philip E. Brophy, Sr., and his love, “Pebbles”. He is also survived by his many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Betty Jane Brophy and aunt and uncle, Frances and Lonnie Hadley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
