Megan (Cheney) Turner

Megan Turner, 30, a wonderful wife and mother, and beautiful daughter and sister, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep, Saturday, April 3, 2010, at her home in West Valley.

She was born to Robert B. Cheney and Ann Barnes Tsantes in Ogden, Utah. She was raised in Layton, graduated from Northridge High School in 1997 and from the University of Utah with a Bachelor''s degree in History in 2005.

Megan married Thomas (T.J.) Turner in 2004. Their son Jonas, born in 2006, was the absolute joy and light of her life. She was most recently employed by Barnes and Noble at Jordan Landing.

She was a beautiful, brilliant, and studious person, who avidly enjoyed reading, but especially adored the time she could spend with T.J. and Jonas. She was loved very much by all who knew her and will be missed very much.

Megan is survived by her husband, son, mother Ann (Frank) Tsantes, father Robert (Shari) Cheney, brothers Jerrod (Olga) Cheney, Christopher, Erik and Cameron Cheney, sisters Andrea (John) Dosier and Melanie (Jeremy) Barnum, grandmother Barbara Tullis, one nephew, six nieces and many cousins.

A special thanks goes out to the Turner family, Tom, Allison, Gloria, Teresa and Penny, who were always such a great support to Megan.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
