Melba Bernice McDonald "Together Again"

Melba Bernice McDonald, 92, passed away on January 8, 2013. Melba the daughter of John and Pearl MaHoney was born on August 29, 1920 in Hooper.

She married Roy R. McDonald and had three children, a daughter, Patsy Mae McDonald and two sons, Dee R. and Curt E. McDonald. Her husband and three children preceded her in death. Melba raised her daughter''s children, Laurie Johnston and Paul Wheeler.

Melba was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Roy and Melba were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.

Melba is survived by her grandchildren, Twyla (Jer) Butcher of Roy; Laurie (Bruce) Johnston of North Ogden; and Paul (Angelica) Wheeler of Roy; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Lacy, Codee, Patrick and Bernice; great-great-grandchildren, Sky, Baby Star, Dominic and D''Angelo; and sister, Doris Pelch of Hooper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three children, one granddaughter, parents and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
