Melinda J. Davis

Our beloved wife and mother, Melinda J. Davis, completed her earthly life on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at her home after a long six year battle with Lymphoma cancer. She was 52 years of age.

Mrs. Davis was born July 16, 1955 in Youngstown, Ohio to James and Emma Richards. She graduated from South High in Youngstown and attended two years of Cosmetology school. During a short stay in Pennsylvania she met her husband, Timothy L. Davis. They moved with their six children to Utah in 1992.

Mrs. Davis worked at Autoliv for five years and then Fresenius until she became ill in 2002. She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls and being with her family.

Mrs. Davis was baptized April 3, 1988 in Pennsylvania as one of Jehovah''s Witness and embraced many with her preaching of hope of the Kingdom. Her favorite scriptures were, Isaiah 48:17-18, Matthew 6:33 and John 5:28. She waits for her family in paradise.

Mrs. Davis leaves behind her husband, Timothy L. Davis, Clinton; six children, Jermaine T. (Mariah) Richards, Portland, OR; Tremayne D. (Karen) Richards, Durango, CO; Antoine L. (Shantelle) Richards, Layton; Adrina S. Richards, Gresham, OR; Lemar T.J. Davis, Salt Lake City; Terrell L. Davis, Clinton; 14 grandchildren; four brothers and four sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 16th at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Wednesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m., at the mortuary.

Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
