Melissa Ann Kromis, 58, our beloved wife and mother passed away May 23, 2011 at Ogden Regional Hospital.

She was born April 28, 1953 to Peter and Concha Lopez Zapata in San Angelo, Texas.

Melissa joined the U.S Air Force in 1974 and served until 1980.

She married Lloyd Kromis in 1995 in Reno, Nevada. Together they had two wonderful daughters, Michelle and Stephanie.

Melissa enjoyed reading, knitting, movies, cooking Tex-Mex food and traveling to historical sites.

Surviving her are her husband and daughters all of Roy. Also surviving are her sisters and brothers, Elizabeth Martinez, Elaine Garcia, Philip Zapata, Paul Zapata, and Peter Zapata.

Preceding her in death are her parents.

Friends may visit family to celebrate Melissa on Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Cremation entrusted to Lindquist''s Crematory.
