Melna Johnson

PROVO – Melna E. Johnson died on June 4, 2009 surrounded by family. She was born on August 25, 1924 to John R. & Julia Edwards. Melna was married on June 28, 1939 to Clarence C. Johnson. She was active as one of Jehovah's Witnesses for six decades and was well known for her love of the Bible and her desire to share it with everyone she met. Melna is survived by her sons Jim Johnson and his wife Dianne, Ron Johnson and his wife Deborah. Also surviving her are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence C. Johnson, two sons Gary Johnson, and David Johnson. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 4:00 pm at the Provo Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on located at 1200 West 500 North in Provo, Utah.
