Melody was born on April 24, 1953 in Ashtabula, Ohio and was called home on May 5, 2009. She graduated from Elko High School and received an Associate''s degree from Salt Lake Community College.

She married Larry Lisonbee. They had a total of four children, three children together and one from Larry''s earlier marriage. They later divorced and she married Rick Saxton on April 20, 1984 at which time they combined their families to make ours.

She was an avid bowler and golfer. She loved being outside working in her yard or surrounded by her loving family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents on both sides of the family, step-father Bud Kimball, sister Denise Wynia and son Derek Coate. She leaves behind her husband Rick, mother Bea Kimball, Dad Vance (Mary) Moody, brother Dale (Debbie), brother Mark (Cathy), sister Debbie (Bob), brothers Ron and Monty, children Vance (Monica), Rebecca, Valerie, Brandon, Jennifer (Brian), Lindsay and Mark (Laura). She has 11 wonderful grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Melody was such a wonderful person. She did not want us to mourn her in death but to celebrate her life. We will all miss her very much and we all love her tremendously.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 11, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary
