LOGAN - Meredith Alana Deckard, 42, died Thursday, January 15, 2009 at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, a result of injuries sustained in a senseless automobile accident that occurred December 2nd. Meredith will forever be remembered for her smile, her open personality, love of life and caring for her family and community.

She was born February 12, 1966 in Moses Lake, Washington, a daughter of Lee Meredith Deckard and Alexis Darlene Andree.

Meredith met the love of her life on September 5, 1995. She and Bekah Moore were joined in a civil union on May 19, 2003 in Montpelier, Vermont.

Her love of life created a loving family environment for Bekah and her three children. Her greatest pride was in her family, loved ones, and also in the relationships formed through her employment at Autoliv.

Meredith''s love of service further carried over into the community that she loved. Her ability to identify those in greatest need enabled Autoliv, through her, to provide service to many families and organizations a€" specifically Sub for Santa and Ogden Youth Impact Center programs.

Meredith was an example of hard work and determination in all facets of her life. She overcame obstacles that, instead of getting her down, made her stronger and a beacon of hope to all who knew her.

Meredith, we will miss your smile and your laugh a€" thank you for making us more than we could have ever been without you.

Surviving are her partner, Bekah Moore of Logan; three sons, Charles Sears (Layrissa) Frank II, Logan; Anthony Meredith (Carrie) Frank, Portland, ME; Justin Robert Deckard-Locke, Logan; and three grandchildren.

Also surviving are her parents, Lee (Diane) Deckard, San Jose, CA; Alexis Andree, Logan; and one sister, Marisa Kobel, Logan.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 24 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Family will meet with friends following the service at the Ogden Marriott Hotel, 247 a€" 24th Street from 5 until 7 p.m.

Cremation under the direction of Lindquist''s Crematory.
