Merle Green Candilora

September 1, 1925 ~ March 22, 2014

Our mom passed away peacefully on March 22, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones.  Merle was born on September 1, 1925 in Tremonton, UT.  She lived most of her life in Ogden where she met, and eventually married the love of her life Al Candilora.

She is survived by six children, Gail (Nick) Breeze, Betty (Obie) Shaw, James Candilora, Valerie (Dennis) McDowell, Kim (Lori) Candilora, and Alyson (Jeff) Yoshimura; 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Phyllis Burt.  Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son Joseph; and grandson Toby.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.

The family would like you to join them for a Celebration of her life on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the Westwood Village Clubhouse, 1111 North 2000 West, Farr West
