Merrill Delwin Ward

Merrill Delwin Ward passed away at his home in Layton, Utah on July 19, 2023.  He was 62 years old.

He was born in Ogden, Utah on July 7, 1961 to Delwin N. and Josephine Anderson Ward.

He was married in Fruit Heights, Utah to Jeannene Jarvis.  They were married for 22 years. They were later divorced.

He resided in Afton, Wyoming for many years before moving to St. Anthony, Idaho where he lived for 20 years.  Merrill was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Merrill had a race car and loved drag racing, he played the drums with various bands and loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping.

He was employed as an auto mechanic.

Thanks to Merrill’s brother,  Bruce Ward who Merrill lived with.  Bruce loved Merrill and took very good care of him.  Also thanks to the Huntsman Cancer Institute who provided medical care for him.

He is survived by his son, Dustin Ward, daughter, Audrey Jorgenson, his parents Josephine and Delwin Ward, brothers; Tracy Ward, Bruce Ward, Brent Ward and Ryan Ward and sister, Teresa Larsen.

Private family services will be held.

Interment, Uintah Cemetery.
