Michael Baldamar Martinez, Jr.

Michael “Mike” Baldamar Martinez, Jr. went to be with his dad Michael B Martinez, Sr. and loved ones in heaven on the same day 26 years ago as Ernie "Boogie" Mora, who meant a lot to him, Monday, May 20, 2024  

Mike was born on October 10, 1977, in Ogden, Utah. He was currently living in Las Vegas where he was attending CDL school. As a family reminiscing about memories of Mike they all had one thing in common and that was how he would always make us laugh, he was the biggest jokester with the best smile and biggest dimples we all loved so much. Mike had a passion for drawing, writing poetry, and music. That's how he portrayed his love, from writing you a poem, to sending you music, or dancing for you and showing off his break-dancing skills. Family meant the most to him, he cherished the ‘55 Ford his dad left him more than anything. We'll continue to live on his legacy like he did his dads. 

Mike is survived by his mom, Gloria Martinez; siblings, Audra (Everett) Lee, Katha (Justin) Weisenberger, Gregory D Martinez; former spouse, Francine Shroulote and their four daughters, Marisa, Venesa, Ilene, and Isabelle Martinez; his six grandchildren, Danny Michael, Mia, Giovanni, Landon, Xalex and Xion; and many other surviving family members.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
