Michael Paul Barowski is off on his next “Fantastic Adventure”.
Mike was born on January 17, 1939 and left this life on July 8, 2016.
Mike loved the mountains and everything Mother Nature created. He was more than generous with his time and of himself. He was always a giving person to his family and friends and was the ultimate tease.
Mike spent his younger years in Michigan, in the Air Force and his beloved Wyoming. He later moved his family to the Ogden area.
Most of his career was devoted to fixing electronics and he worked for National Cash Register Company and Smith’s Food and Drug. He was proud that he could fix anything and everything and was a talented carpenter.
Mike was proud of his Lithuanian heritage and his own legacy, which includes his children and his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Loraine Barowski. His daughter, Michelle (James) Hawkins and his sons Mark (Autumn) Barowski and Charles (Nancy) Barowski. His grandchildren; Bryleigh (Randy Flash) Gordon, Brooklyn, Brody, Josh, Rachel, Sarah, Nicholas, Belle and Michael and his “little miracle” and Great Grand-Daughter, Halley Beth.
A viewing will be held at Lindquist’s mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd on Tuesday, July 12, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be held Ogden City Cemetery on Wednesday, July 13, at 10:00 a.m.
