Michael Scott Bircumshaw

August 29, 1979 – November 25, 2017

Michael Scott Bircumshaw passed away November 25, 2017, with his family around him.  He will be greatly missed.

He was born August 29, 1979 in Layton, Utah the son of Kenneth Floyd and Tamara Jean Loftus Bircumshaw.

Michael earned his high school diploma from Salt Lake Community College.  He loved to go to concerts with his brothers, and watch his favorite team the Dallas Cowboys. He loved to play the drums.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and anytime he could spend with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, brothers, Tom, Robert, Kenny Lee, Kevin, nieces, Kristina and Brenna and one nephew Timmy.

Michael is preceded in death by his dad Kenny, grandparents, Lorin and Lou Jean Loftus, Tom and Helen Bircumshaw, cousin Timmy, Uncle Lane Loftus and Aunt Sherry Nance.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations may be made to a Go Fund Me account in his name.
