NORTH OGDEN a€" Michael Robert Boothe passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008. He was born in Ogden, Utah at the old Dee Hospital on October 31, 1948 to William Hyrum and Helena Alean Heiner Boothe.

He lived in the Clearfield, Clinton and Layton areas before moving to North Ogden in 2005.

Mike married Shauna Anderson on September 27, 1968 in Layton, Utah at the Park Ward Chapel. He and Shauna were blessed with one son and one daughter.

First and foremost, he enjoyed and loved his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and family camping trips and was happy to have his family around him for Sunday dinners.

He served proudly in the Army doing support operations from Thailand during the Vietnam conflict. After basic training in Fort Ord, CA, he was transferred to Fort Hood, TX, for advanced training for six months. He was also a member of VFW Post 1481.

Upon returning from Thailand he worked for his father at Bill''s Sheet Metal in Layton installing heating and air conditioning equipment. He currently worked at HAFB in Plant Services and was looking forward to retirement soon.

He is survived by his wife, Shauna; his son, Darrin Michael (Celeste) Boothe, Layton, UT; his daughter Carrie (Justin) Fowers, Farr West, UT; one brother Gordon (Deborah) Boothe, Layton, UT; one sister Kristine (Patrick) Lair, Syracuse, UT; and six grandchildren, Colton, Shelby, Tyler, Alyssa, Colby and Sidney.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Dennis Boothe.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Saturday one hour prior to services at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
