Michael E. Cook
LAYTON – On Thursday, December 27, 2007, our amazing Daddy left our arms to be in the skies above. Michael E. Cook was born April 15, 1971 in Ogden, to Evelyn Bird Cook. Daddy grew up in Ogden. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1989 where he loved to play baseball and football.
He became an EMT from Weber State University in 1991 and began working for Intermountain Health Care. Daddy graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science Information Systems.
Although our Daddy’s time here was short, he will never be forgotten. We will always miss shopping, playing catch and the movies.
Michael is survived by his two beautiful children, Adam Dean and Hannah Nicole Cook, his mother, Evelyn Bird, and his brothers and sisters, John Cook, Mary Cook, James (Stephanie) Cook, Fred Cook, and Elizabeth (Chuck) Painter.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Olive Cook and Victor and Levon Bird.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

We love you Daddy and will always soar with you in our hearts where you are free of pain.
