Michael John Davies

Michael John Davies, aged 58, of Layton, Utah, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Holy Cross Hospital in Layton Utah. Born in Adelaide, Australia, on October 1, 1965, Michael moved to Wallasey, England, at a young age. He graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic College in Wallasey, England. Michael proudly served in the British Army. After which, he worked for Royal Mail. He later moved to the United States in 2012 to live with his wife, Lisa Ann Davies.

Michael spent the majority of his career in Utah as a warehouse manager with Summus Medical. He was raised in the Catholic Church and enjoyed hobbies such as golf, karaoke, and spending quality time with his wife, Lisa, and their beloved yorkie, Chloe. People were often drawn to Mike for his smile, sense of humor, and his fun personality. 

He is survived by his mother, Maureen Davies (formerly Feeney); his children, Michelle Davies, Michael Davies, Danielle Davies, Lindsey Davies, Gemma Davies; his nine grandchildren; his current wife, Lisa Ann Davies (formerly Jorgensen); and his stepchildren, Jacob Wade Ogden and Elissa Ann Ogden. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Adrian Davies and his first wife, Deborah Davies.

Michael will be cremated before the ceremony. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist Syracuse Mortuary, 869 S. 2000 W. Syracuse, Utah, 84075.
