\Michael Anthony Delgado, Jr., 40, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022. He was born on December 17, 1981 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Michael A. and Sylvia Sotelo Delgado.
He enjoyed fishing, outdoors, art, botany, barbeques, family parties and he was a great cook. Michael was a tattoo artist in which he could exceed expectations. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his little nieces and nephews.
Michael gave and loved deeply and liked clowning around with his family and friends. He struggled through life with many medical problems that created addiction. 1 Peter 5:8, Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. If we are not on the alert the dark side prowls and roams around seeking to steal and destroy our souls. Addiction is a family full of heartache.
Michael is survived by his parents; grandmother; brothers, Benny Delgado, Matthew and Manuel Delgado; aunt and uncle, Cynthia and Freddie Delgado; aunt and uncle, Olga and Thomas Escobedo; aunt and uncle, Pablo and Lorraine Rodriquez; uncle and aunt, Taurino and Stacy Rueda.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pat and Mary Julia Sotelo; grandfather, Fred Delgado Sr; uncles, Pat Jr. Michael, Ismael, Henry and Joe Sotelo; nephew, Angelo Sotelo; and aunts, Anita, Cindy, Patsy and Pebbles Delgado.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
