LAYTON a€" Michael Ryan Foote passed away Friday, October 17, 2008. He was born February 13, 1978, in Ogden, Utah the son of Larry and Rosie Turpin Foote.

Mike married Amber Boren on May 1, 1999; together they have a beautiful daughter Grace Ryan. He graduated from Northridge High School in 1996.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mike spent nine years employed with Smiths Warehouse and was currently employed with Alsco Linen as Chief Engineer, where he gained many lifelong friends.

Mike had many talents and loved a challenge. He always wanted to learn more. From welding to tile, to sharing mechanical tips with his brother Scott.

Mike loved spending time with his family and friends in the outdoors, Sunday dinners at the Harmstons, and always looked forward to the annual trips to the Uintah Mountains, and Moab where he was guaranteed the opportunity to use his mechanical skills.

He is survived by his wife, Amber; daughter, Grace; Father, Larry, stepmother, Lori, mother-in-law Terry, fathera€"in-law, Dean; one brother, Scott (Tenill); also survived by two brothers-in-laws and their wives; one sister a€"in-law, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Preceded in death by his mother Rosie; grandparents Joyce and Clyde W. Turpin; Grandfather Don C. Foote and one nephew Sage Aaron.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Clearfield 10th Ward, 300 North Vine Street. Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road, and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the church.
