Michael Rowdy Mayer was taken from us suddenly on Monday, May 17, 2010.
He was born March 18, 1972 in Ogden, Utah to Dennis Lee and MaryLou Herrera Mayer.
Heavenly Father, you have called my son back home after giving me 38 years of the greatest joy of my life. You molded my precious Michael into an amazing man who made this world a better place to live in.
Michael touched many lives and left a deep and lasting impression on everyone he met. My sweet Michael was an old soul, he was very spiritual and philosophical. Michael was an exquisite writer who loved to journal about his amazing life experiences. He was a good friend to all who knew him. He was caring, concerned and compassionate. His compassion was evident by his work in a Group home, sharing his life with those less fortunate than him.
He graduated from Clearfield High School and attended Weber State University, as well the University of Utah.
He worked for Menlove Toyota in Bountiful and loved his job.
He will be reunited with his best friend and beloved father, Dennis Lee Mayer and his baby brother, Christopher Nash Mayer. He leaves behind his mother, Marylou Mayer and his sweetheart, Denise Taylor and her two children, Bryson and MaKenna as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 21st at 11 a.m. at St. Mary''s Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven.
The family will meet friends for a viewing on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, with a Rosary at 7 p.m.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
In lieu of flowers, MaryLou respectfully suggests donations be made to The American Heart Association.
