"Mike"

LAYTON- Michael L. McKean passed away Monday May 11, 2009 after a short battle ending in liver failure.

He was born May 21, 1970 to Eva B. McKean.

Mike was a loving person who treated everyone he met like they were family. He was a man with many talents such as the love of cooking and barbequing, he enjoyed making up his own recipes. Mike loved to get away with his wife and go to Wendover.

He married his true love Debbie on June 20, 1992 in Salt Lake City. They have two beautiful daughters Raquel and Ashley. They lived in West Valley for some time and later moved to Layton. Mike''s profession was construction and maintenance which he was very good at.

He leaves behind his wife and their daughter''s Raquel and Ashley. His sister; Kathy (Jim) and his nephew; Tony (Jen) and niece; Candi (Kerry) who he grew up with and great nephews; James and Cameron and great nieces; Mollie, Brianna and Vivian. His sister-in-law; Brenda and niece; Jazzy and nephews; Justin and Jaden, and his most favorite Granny Dora and many friends.

Mike you are gone yet not forgotten although we are apart God has you in his keeping we have you in our hearts. He is preceded in death by his mother, grandparents, uncles and aunts, mother-in-law and father-in-law.

The family would like to thank CNS Hospice and friends for their compassionate care.
