CLEARFIELD a€" Michael Berdayne Owen, 55, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2008 of cancer.

He was born January 1, 1953 in Ogden the son of Melvin Lee and Shirley Young Owen.

Mike married Linda Lee Worden. They have been together for 33 years.

Mike served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the LDS Church. Mike enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, outdoor sports, watching the JAZZ and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Surviving are his wife Linda, son, Justin (Susie) Owen, daughter, Tiffany (Jared) Nelson of Clearfield; eight grandchildren, mother, Shirley (George) Larson of Kent, WA; two brothers, Melvin L. Owen Jr. of Ogden; Danny R. Owen of Salt Lake City; four sisters, Patsi (Jack) Miller of Clayton, WA; MaryLou (Dennis) Richardson of Ogden; Shirlee (John) Saunders and Kathy Anthon of Layton.

Preceded in death by his father, Melvin L. Owen Sr.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

Interment, Morgan City Cemetery.
