Michael Scott Stapley

Michael Scott Stapley, born on May 23, 1964, passed away in his home on May 29, 2022, following a long battle with cancer and mental illness. 

Mike was known for his love of Disney, The Minnesota Vikings, powerlifting, the outdoors, and traveling. He considered himself an amateur weapons builder and gun enthusiast who enjoyed including his family in all his adventures. Anyone who knew Mike knew that they could count on his love and support regardless of their situation. He would give you the ratty gym shirt off his back if it meant it’d help ease any burden you may have been carrying. His biggest joy in life was spending as much time as he could with his family; from family trips, to finding the biggest thrill rides, to just sitting all together on the couch, Mike enjoyed every second of it. 

Mike leaves behind the love of his life, Lisa; their five children, Melissa, Tyler, Ashlei, Kassie, and Derreck; as well as eight grandchildren; and two fur babies. 

Following Mike’s wishes there will be a private celebration of life for immediate family members.
