Michael F. Stocks KAYSVILLE – Beloved husband, father, papa, son, uncle and friend Mike Stocks, 47, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Davis Hospital suddenly of a heart attack. He was born on February 2, 1960 in El Paso, Texas the son of Sanford W. and Ursula Mueller Stocks. Mike was raised in Layton and had lived in Germany and Oklahoma. Mike married Sherrie Hodson on June 5, 1981 at the chapel on Hill Air Force Base. He had worked as a Parts Manager at several local car dealerships and was currently employed at Murdock Chevrolet. He was perfect in every way. He took pride in his professionalism and dedication to his family and work. Mike enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, golf, water and snow skiing, camping, all sports, but most of all being with his family. He was very intelligent and fun to be around. Surviving are his loving wife Sherrie of 26 years, son Jake, Kaysville; daughter April, Kaysville; granddaughter Elizabeth Sterzer, mother Ursula Stocks, Layton; brother Bob (Lori) Stocks, Hooper, sister-in-law LaRay Parker, Roy; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, grandparents and uncle Artie. Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Thursday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Mike and Sherrie were the love’s of each others lives. Mike also adored his two children and granddaughter.
