Michael passed away from natural causes on the morning of May 11, 2015 at 4:39 a.m., at the age of 53. Michael was surrounded by his family.

Michael was born on August 8, 1961 at 11:39 p.m. in Logan, Utah. He was the third child of six children, and the first son of Robert and Nelda Vance.

Michael had a happy childhood, he loved riding his bike and playing basketball. Michael followed his father around fixing many things around the house. His father called him his “Little Buddy.” Michael helped his father and younger brother build their new family home where his mother still resides today in Layton, Utah.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Robert G. Vance, on August 15, 2014.

Michael is survived by his mother Nelda Vance, older sisters Michelle Williams and Sharon Carrol, his younger brother Robert Jeffery Vance, and his younger sisters, KymberlyAnn Vance and Allyson Fuhriman.

Michael has nine nieces and nephews, three great-nieces and nephews with a fourth on the way.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.
