Michael J. Wilson OGDEN – Michael John Wilson, 51, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Ogden Regional Medical Center, and is now free from the devastating effects of diabetes. He was born in Blair, Nebraska on November 10, 1956, the son of Woodie L. Wilson and Helen Bingham. Mike grew up in the Ogden area where he was a friend to all who knew him and he never met a stranger. Mike loved to travel; found beauty in every rock he found; took an immense interest in history; was an avid football fan, and took great pride in his gardening abilities. Mike was a very caring, generous, and compassionate person. Due to his love of his fellow man, he will continue to give and live on as an organ donor. He was loved and will be missed, but not forgotten. Surviving are his two sons, John (Sarah) and Christopher Pacheco; two grandchildren, Gavin and Anieya; his mother, Helen Reiss; sisters, Gayle (Jerry) Eatchel and Sherrie (John) Simmons; his longtime companion, Catherine Imes, and a very special niece, Lindsey Eatchel. Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Linda; his brother, William L. Wilson; his stepfather, Albert Reiss; and his maternal grandparents. Private services will be held at the Ogden City Cemetery, following cremation under the direction of Lindquist’s Crematory. Funeral Directors, Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
