“Together Again”

Our friend, Michael Zemo, passed away peacefully in his home on October 15, 2015.  Michael was born on December 21, 1928 to Metro Zemo and Annie Bushwak in Harrisburg, PA.

Mike honorably served in the United States Navy from 1948 until 1952.  Upon discharge he settled in Utah, and on May 14, 1954 married Sylvia Belle Sommerstedt.  Mike and Sylvia made Utah their home.  Mike had a career in the Civil Service at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.

Mike was a first-class gardener and a student of everything.  Mike and Sylvia cared for each other until her death on December 9, 2005.  Mike was loved by all of his friends.  In his declining years, special care was provided by Brenda Dayton and her family, Linda Melaney and her family, John Price and his family, and other special friends.

Special thanks is expressed to Aspire Home Health & Hospice and Nicole Price, who showed great compassion and love for Mike.

Graveside service and sharing of memories will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
