Michelle Joanna Barker, 54, passed away at her home in Roy, Utah on December 16, 2020. Born in Ogden to Jay Kenner Labrecque and Natalie DeCorso, Michelle was raised in Sierra Vista, Arizona, graduating from high school there, and also lived in California before returning and settling in Utah.

Michelle was an occupational therapist and loved serving as a dog sitter. Dogs were her passion. Having completed the 12 Step Program through AA, Michelle had enjoyed five years of sobriety before she passed. Her later years were marred by struggles with MS but Michelle will be remembered most for her love of animals, her kind service to other people, her sense of humor, and for her love of four-wheeling, fishing, and completing jigsaw puzzles.

Michelle is survived by her devoted companion, Kent L. Britton, Roy; father, Jay Kenner “Ken” Labrecque, Sierra Vista, AZ; brother, Michael (Dierdre) Labrecque, Hereford, AZ, by her uncle, Allen D. (Connie B. Valentine) Labrecque, Clinton; and by her dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Natalie DeCorso.

Memorial Services for Michelle will begin with visitation for family and close friends at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. A memorial service that will be live-streamed will begin at 2 p.m. at the mortuary. The services will be live streamed and able to view by scrolling to the bottom of Michelle's obituary.
