Michelle Lindquist Buckway

Michelle Lindquist Buckway passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 with her husband at her side.

Michelle was born March 24, 1953 to H. W. (Nick) Lindquist and Janice Austin Lindquist.

She attended Bonneville High School where she graduated in 1971.

She worked at Harmon''s Millstream Restaurant from 1972 to 1985. She married David Buckway on September 1, 1978 in Elko, Nevada.

Michelle had a great big smile for everybody. She was always happy and outgoing. She loved baseball, every year she cheered for the cubs and if they didn''t win she''d say "they''ll do better next year". She was the vision of sportsmanship she was always happy for the winners and felt bad for the losers. Michelle also loved quilting. She was always at her sewing machine or the quilt frame. She loved quilting because of the colors, and there was always a beautiful warm smile to go with the beautiful colors.

She was preceded in death by her father, Nick Lindquist.

She is survived by her mother, Janice Lindquist, South Ogden; her husband, David Buckway, Roy; her son, Kerry Buckway, Salt Lake City; a sister, Jody (Arlen) Jarrett, South Jordan; two brothers, Troy (Kristy) Lindquist, Frankfurt, Germany; and Tracy (Lisa) Lindquist, San Diego, CA.

We would like to thank the staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center, Bonneville Dialysis Center and the wonderful staff at Mt. Ogden Rehabilitation Center and very special thanks to Mark, Brian and Karen for their tireless efforts.

Funeral will be held Tuesday, November 25th at 1:00 p.m. at Lindquist'' Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Interment, Hooper Cemetery.
