Michelle Katelyn Murdock, age 26, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 5th, 2019 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, Texas.

She was born on March 30, 1993 in Evansville, Indiana, to Julia (Murdock) Nelson and Travis Vonderscher. She was a 2011 graduate of Two Rivers High School.

Michelle married Chris Ray on September 7, 2013 in Hooper, Utah.

She worked as a medical assistant at a dermatologist office in Dallas, Texas. This is where her love for skin care began. She loved her job there so much that she decided she wanted a career in skin care and enrolled in esthetic school.

In her free time she enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, shopping, doing makeup, her tattoos and being outdoors. She loved swimming and boating since she was a little girl. She would go boating with her grandparents and dad from the time she was little and that love of boating stuck with her forever. She also had a new found love for fitness and going to the gym with her mom and sister.

Michelle was loved by all. She had so many friends and family that loved to spend time with her. She had a great sense of humor and could light up any room and make anyone laugh. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her son, Noah, who she cherished more than anything. She was so proud of him and loved him so much.

She is survived by her son, Noah Ray; mom and step-dad, Julia and Jared Nelson; dad, Travis Vonderscher; siblings: Kaylee, Kenna and Ethan Nelson; grandparents: Karen and David Vonderscher, Claudia and Roger Murdock, Susie and Vaughn Nelson; and other loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Hooper Freedom Ward, 4675 W. 5500 S. Family and friends who knew and loved Michelle are invited to Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 and on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church to visit with family.
