Michelle Lee Murphy

Michelle Lee Murphy, 37, passed away Friday, June 29, 2007 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She fought a courageous battle against breast cancer.

She was born May 9, 1970 in Hooper, Utah to Garth F. and Elaine M. Douglas.

She was raised in Hooper and resided in Roy.

On September 8, 1995, Michelle married Jeff Murphy, in Ogden, Utah.

Michelle was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She returned to her Heavenly Father and is no longer in pain.

Michelle was very involved with her children and all of their activities. She loved camping with family, riding ATV''s and traveling. She was an active member of the Monday Night''s Misfits Women''s bowling league.

She loved the holidays and decorating her home.

Michelle is survived by her husband and four children, Chaz, Aimee, Shaylynn and Austin, all of Roy; her parents, Garth and Elaine Douglas, parents-in-law, Ken and Jean Murphy. Also surviving are her sisters and brothers, Kimberly (Terry) Luthy, Diana (Bruce) Lemieux, Darren (Mary) Douglas, twin brother, Michael (Tiffany) Douglas, and a brother-in-law, Michael Murphy.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, a cousin Kelly, and sister-in-law Trish.

The family would like to thank Dr. Vincent Hansen and staff, and all of her many friends at IRS.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call on Monday, July 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the mortuary.

Interment, Hooper Cemetery.

Michelle, you will always be loved and missed.
