Mick Kelly Rust

August 6, 1959 ~ December 26, 2016

Mickey passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, friends and loved ones.

He was one of eight sons of Melvin and Donna Cook Rust.

He grew up in the Ogden area.  He graduated from Weber High School.

Although Mick had many challenges in life, he took them all with great big happy smile!!

Mick and his life partner Rich, owned and operated two bars in Ogden for 20 years, The Journal and The Brass Rail.

Mick was survived by his wife, Trina Ford; his seven brothers, Milton, Dee, Jay, Ron, Neal, Kent and Ted.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his life partner of 33 years, Richard Hill.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Danna Hutchinson, Hearts Hospice, and the many doctors that came into his life.

There will be a celebration of life in June at his home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations go to the Marshall White Center
